August 24 Open House for Preschool, KG and Grade 1 9 AM to 10 AM Parents should bring the child's school supplies. Preschool Families meet in the Preschool Room from 9 AM to 10 AM Grade One Families meet in the First Grade Room from 9 AM to 10 AM. Kindergarten Students: Student's last name begins with A to M will meet with the teacher from 9 AM to 9:30 AM. Student's last name begins with N to Z will meet with the teacher from 10 AM to 10:30 AM.
Annual Parent Back to School Party is August 25, 2011
The Annual Parent Back to School Party has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 25 from 6 to 9 PM at the Art Studio of Andy Cross located 5949 Kingsbury on Des Peres Thank you to Andy Cross who is an alumni, parishioner, and former school parent for housing this event. For more details refer to the flyer from Chairperson Mary Broun emailed to you on August 4, 2011. This event is sponsored by the St. Roch School Association and the Men and Women of St. Roch Extended Day Care begins before school and after school.

Student Accident Insurance Student Accident Insurance is available to any family in our school who may be interested. The coverage is offered through K&K Insurance Group, Inc. The plans are underwritten by Nationwide Life Insurance Company. Optional Plan to enroll Kg-12 Students go to www.studentinsurance~kk.com Registration Registration fees are non-refundable and are $225 per child for Kindergarten to Grade 8. $130 per child for preschool. Kindergarten Registration St. Roch is accepting Kindergarten Registration for the Class of 2010. Your child must be five by August 1. You may call the school office to arrange for a school tour at 314-721-2595. If you know of a family that currently is not enrolled in the St. Roch Preschool and has a child that meets the age requirements for Kindergarten, then please call them and inform them of this notice. eScrip Registration; To register for St. Roch School Association go on line at www.eScrip.com or call the number on the card. Our ID NUMBER IS 6611473. Office Depot will donate 5% of your purchase to our school. St. Roch's ID Number is 70057531. Soup Kitchen Preschool to Grade 8: St. Roch is in the process of collecting soup cans throughout the school year. What to bring? Any size can of soup and variety. Grade 7 and 8 students will pick up soup cans once a month from homeroom classes and deliver them to the soup kitchen. Field Trips: Parent Signature must be on the School Field Trip Permission Slip sent home by the classroom teacher in order for the student to attend the school or class field trip. Phone Permission, Faxes or personal notes are UNACCEPTABLE. PARENT ALERT! Snow Watch Watch TV channels 2, 4, and 5. It is a must for you to watch more than one channel in case closing is on another viewing station and not the one you are watching. School closing posting should appear by 7:30 AM. In the event that school is NOT closed please use your judgment for attending school. With so many zip codes, it is difficult to consider the driving conditions of each neighborhood. Do not call the Parish House for school closing information.
